In 2004, due to the increasing volume of material purchased by Casale Marble Imports overseas for its own production, their buying power grew stronger.
They now had the opportunity to expand into the natural stone distribution business with the opening of CMI Stone Direct, a wholly owned subsidiary in Delray Beach, Florida serving the construction industry on the East Coast of Florida.

In September of 2006, CMI Stone Direct opened its second distribution center in Fort Myers, Florida which is servicing the West Coast of Florida.
This 30,000 square foot facility houses a custom showroom filled with displays of natural stone products, medallions, columns, inlays and 7 private conference rooms built specifically for builders, designers and architects.
Currently, CMI Stone Direct has 25,000 slabs and 1.5 million square feet in natural stone flooring in stock. |
